Living Light Shows

At Be The Disco Ball, light does not stand still. It moves with the body and travels across the space.

Dancing on stage or flying through the air, the performers become the light show, creating a breathing visual show.

The Shows

Each performance concept begins with a costume designed to shape light. Mirrors scatter reflections across the space. Prisms break beams into shifting colours. UV-reactive materials reveal glowing forms in the dark.

Every unique suit is handcrafted from around 3,000 individual pieces, and each performance concept is developed together with its own light design and time-coded choreographies.

All shows below can be booked dancing on stage, flying in the air, or combined, and adapted to the space and event.

Dancing Human Disco Balls

The classic Living Light Show: disco ball dancers in handmade mirror suits, controlling the light with their bodies. As the dancers move in choreography with the beams, they push, pull and redirect the lights across the space. A single body movement becomes visible a hundred meters away, and the whole space becomes part of the performance.

A mirror suit performance works in intimate settings and in big venues, indoor or outdoor. It can open an event, surprise a party, or carry a full show.

Prism

A suit made from more than 3,000 individually hand-placed glass crystals does what no lighting rig can: it transforms pure white light into every colour of the rainbow.

As the dancer moves in the 20-kilogram Prism suit, the space fills with shifting colours, like light falling as confetti. Performed dancing.

Ultra Glow

Thousands of hand-placed UV-reactive stones transform the performer into a glowing neon creature. Flowing floorwork,  flexibility and colours that remain hidden until the room goes dark and ultraviolet light takes over.

Bookable dancing or flying.

The newest suit unites it all. Three concepts in one costume: mirrors, prisms and UV together. One performance, every effect.

The ultimate Living Light Show, bookable dancing or flying.

Take it into the Air

The mirror suits leaving the ground. High above the audience, aerial dancers become breathing disco balls. The ultimate Highlight! Performed on the Hans Zimmer world tour.

Frequently asked questions

How long is a performance?

Standard choreographies run from 4 to 10 minutes. For longer formats, performers can alternate between different performance concepts to create one continuous show, or several shorter performances can be scheduled throughout the event.

Which show fits our event?

Dancing shows work beautifully on stage, in both large-scale productions and more intimate settings. Flying shows create the ultimate wow moment in the air and require a rigging point at a minimum height of six metres. Both formats can also be combined into one larger show. We’ll advise you on the best option for your space and programme.

Can the show be adapted to our event or brand?

Yes. Every show is adapted to the space, and fully custom shows can be created to match a theme, a brand or an opening/closing show.
